Bulldogs drop fourth straight game

STARKVILLE, Miss., - As has been the case most of the season, Rick Ray's Mississippi State squad was overwhelmed right from the start.

No.7 Florida drained 14 3-point shots and buried the Bulldogs 82-47 sending MSU's slide to four games.

The Gators (16-2) on the other hand notched their eighth straight victory and remained undefeated in conference play at 6-0. Florida shot 55.4-percent for the game including 64-percent in the second half.
