The past few days have been full of uncertainty for the Hargrave Military (Chatham, Va.) duo of defensive lineman John Atkins and outside linebacker Leonard Floyd.
Both signed with Georgia in February out of their respective high schools, but when both failed to quality, their work was cut out and waiting for them in Chatham.
On Tuesday, Atkins told UGASports that they weren't sure if they would be able to enroll at UGA in January because of a situation where both four-star prospects had requirements that must be met before they could make it to Athens.
Atkins told UGASports on Wednesday, however, that after meeting with the Dean at Hargrave Military, everything is resolved.
"I'll be there January 7 at UGA," said Atkins in a text to UGASports on Wednesday.
When asked about Floyd's status, Atkins responded with similar certainty.
"Same with him," said Atkins.
The Thomson native wasn't available for an interview on Wednesday morning due to the fact that he was walking in to class at the time, but when asked if he was 100% sure if things were lined up for him to enroll at Georgia, Atkins had a quick text responses.
"Yes sir. The Dean said we will be able to enroll," he said.
