Jok off to a fast start

Iowa commit Peter Jok is off to a fast start his senior year. The 6-foot-6 forward is averaging 27.3 points per game early on this season and has led West Des Moines Valley to a 2-1 start. For Jok, who endured a lengthy rehab process after surgery for a torn patellar tendon in 2011, it feels good to finally be healthy and back to his old form.

On Tuesday night, Jok had probably the best game of his high school career so far with 32 points and 10 rebounds in an 82-53 win over Marshalltown. The Class of 2013 prospect shot 12/17 from the field,3/4 from three-point range, and 5/5 from the free throw line in the game.
