Defense ready for Gamecocks

Arkansas had a good practice day Wednesday as they prepare to take on No. 8 South Carolina in Williams-Bryce Stadium, and they will be going into the game with two very young starting inside linebackers.

The Razorback defense will be without middle linebacker Terrell Williams, who was picked up by police early Sunday morning on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. It was just hours after the team's 19-15 win over Tulsa in Fayetteville last weekend. Williams has been suspended indefinitely.

The Razorbacks were already starting one true freshman at linebacker in A.J. Turner, and now they will start another in Otha Peters. Turner entered the starting lineup after the Auburn game, when the second Arkansas starting linebacker went down with a season-ending injury. Turner has racked up 30 tackles so far this season, eighth on the team.
