The flow of commitments to the Ohio State football program just keeps running under new head coach Urban Meyer. On Sunday, Meyer and the Buckeyes landed arguably the biggest recruit yet in this class with the commitment of five-star defensive end Noah Spence. The 6-foot-4, 245-pound prospect from Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt made his official visit to Columbus this weekend and decided to end his recruitment two weeks early. Spence was originally scheduled to announce his commitment at the Under Armour All-American Game.

With the commitment of Spence, Ohio State has now landed four defensive linemen ranked in the Rivals100 in this cycle with three of those coming in the last week in four-star defensive tackle Tommy Schutt, four-star defensive end Se'von Pittman and now Spence. The haul on the defensive line is one of the best in recent memory, not only for Ohio State but for any program in the nation.

Spence is the No. 9 ranked player in the nation by Rivals.com.
