Competition intensifies on day 8
For those of us Oregonians, we know all too well that to say the weather here in the Pacific Northwest is unpredictable is a bit of an understatement. Today was a prime example of such a day.
All morning it poured rain and winds howled across OSU's campus, which led Coach Mike Riley to move practice inside of the Truax Indoor Practice Facility. But as if on cue, as soon as the guys hit the field to stretch out, the clouds parted and the sun made an appearance.
Despite the turn in weather, practice was still held inside and the coaches wanted to set the tone early on. Immediately following the special teams work, the offensive and defensive units split from one another to get to work on their respected drills.
