Recruiting Wrap: New offers for top targets has an update on some of the top players Michigan State is recruiting for the class of 2012. Several Spartan targets have picked up new scholarship offers in recent days. Find out the latest.

  • ATH Riley Bullough of Saint Francis High School, Michigan
    Bullough recently picked up scholarship offers from Cincinnati and Western Michigan to go along with his scholarships from Iowa and Michigan State. He will be visiting Notre Dame and Wisconsin later this spring.

  • DE Mario Ojemudia of Farmington Hills Harrison High School, Michigan
    The Syracuse Orange are the latest school to offer the 6-foot-3, 215-pound prospect. Syracuse is very active in Michigan this year with former Wolverine and Detroit native Tyrone Wheatley serving as the primary recruiter for them.
  • RB William Mahone of Austintown Fitch High School, Ohio
    Another day, another offer; Mahone is seeing his stock skyrocket this winter. Earlier this week we reported that he had new scholarship offers from Notre Dame, Northwestern and Pitt. Iowa and Vanderbilt can now be added to the list as well.

  • RB Dennis Norfleet of Detroit King High School, Michigan
    Michigan State was the first to offer Norfleet and has stated several times that we believe he is a top 5 in-state talent. This week the Tennessee Volunteers threw their hat in the ring and offered. No doubt they will be a team to keep an eye on.

  • DE Roderick Chungong of Good Counsel High School, Maryland
    Michigan State is back in Maryland looking to sign some quality prospect for the class of 2012. Chungong is a player they identified early and offered before anyone else. He has since picked up offers from schools like Illinois, Ga Tech, Virginia and N.C. State. Look for more information on his recruitment soon.

  • OL Kyle Dodson of Cleveland Heights High School, Ohio
    In another example of impressive early evaluation by the Spartan staff, Kyle Dodson is seeing his stock improve significantly. The most recent offer for the 6-foot-6, 315-pound prospect is from the Crimson Tide of Alabama. Michigan State was his first offer.

  • LB James Ross of Orchard Lake Saint Mary's High School, Michigan
    Ross is viewed as the top prospect in Michigan for the class of 2012 and his list of scholarships does nothing but reinforce that notion. Michigan State offered Ross last summer. The most recent schools to offer include Nebraska, Notre Dame and Ohio State.

  • WR Jordan Westerkamp of Good Counsel High School, Illinois

    Westerkamp has been busy visiting many of the schools that have offered him. His most recent scholarship offer is from the Stanford Cardinal. Westerkamp got some good news as far as his high school team, top DT Jaleel Johnson has transferred into Montini Catholic. Michigan State has offered both players.
