Playing for Carmody
Watching Bill Carmody coach from the bench would lead an observer to believe that playing for Northwestern's head coach might be a difficult proposition.
The coach almost never seems happy. His gestures veer from urgency to disdain to disgust, and the look on his face often suggests that he just took a lick of a dill-flavored lollipop.
Then, after the game, he is so bluntly candid in his comments that he often -- advertently or inadvertently -- ends up blistering one or more of his players.
