Tulsa faces big challenge at Houston

This week's game against Houston is one that Tulsa players have had in their sights for quite some time.

"This is a game we circle," Golden Hurricane quarterback G.J. Kinne said. "This is a big game, bigger than Notre Dame, for the season. Houston presents a great challenge. They have a great ball team. We have to go out there and get ready."

Tulsa circles this game because of its history for having an impact on the Conference USA West Division race. This year is no different. The loser of this game will almost certainly be out of contention.

Said Tulsa coach Todd Graham of the Cougars: "They've done an outstanding job, and this is always a very physical and challenging game for us. We know that in order to be Conference USA champions, you have to go through Houston."

But that's only part of the task for the Golden Hurricane.
