Neuheisel likes what he sees

Though still guarded, it was obvious that UCLA head coach Rick Neuheisel is feeling a lot better than he did on the previous days leading up to Wednesday's practice. For good reason too, the Bruins have had two solid practices heading into the Houston game on Saturday Night, but the Bruin faithful have heard and read that before so proof will be in the pudding and the pudding won't be available until Saturday Night.

For a team that is 0-2 there certainly has been a lot of media around. It also seemed like it USC game week. As is customary, Neuheisel meets with the media after practice to discuss the practice.

Neuheisel: "Another good practice. I'm very excited about the way we are working. It gives us our best chance to end the skid and we have a tall order. Given we are playing the University of Houston's dynamic offense. They have a very talented defense with a talented defensive coordinator who I'm he has a lot of things in his holster that he hasn't shown yet. So it is an exciting game or us and one that our kids are excited about because we need to make amends for the way we started the season and see if we can't play our best game on Saturday Night."
