No. 4 OT visiting AU, still high on Tigers

Thibodaux (La.) four-star offensive lineman Greg Robinson planned to visit Auburn last weekend for the Tigers' season opener against Arkansas State. Instead, the 6-foot-5, 295-pound Robinson chose to stay home and practice with the rest of the Thibodaux team.

For Robinson, it was an easy choice.

"Because of Labor Day, we had our Monday practice on Saturday, and then got back to our normal routine on Tuesday," said Robinson. "Coach (Dennis) Lorio told me I could go (to Auburn), but I thought it was best for the team that I stayed and didn't miss out on practice."

Robinson and Thibodaux won last week's season opener 50-44 over McDonough. Friday night, without three of its starters, Thibodaux lost to Destrehan 27-12. Auburn coach Trooper Taylor, the Tigers' lead recruiter for Robinson, was in attendance at the game...
