Size matters in Illinois

College coaches looking for offensive lineman would be wise to spend some time recruiting Illinois this year, because the state is producing a bumper crop of big men for the Class of 2011 says recruiting expert Edgy Tim O'Halloran.

The Illinois high school guru says that the group of junior offensive linemen in the Land of Lincoln is both deep and talented.

"I'm very excited by the offensive line group," said O'Halloran, who has been running since 1995. "I'm seeing a lot of 6-4, 6-5 and 6-6 guys who are 270 to 280 pounds, with room to grow and fill out. They're mobile and athletic."
