Defense fueling Cats' run through league

Moments after Kansas State coach Frank Martin walked off the court on Tuesday wearing a black skull-and-crossbones T-shirt, which perhaps symbolizes the seventh-ranked Wildcats' mentality during the heat of the Big 12 Conference season, junior guard Jacob Pullen pointed to one aspect of his team's play that has helped the program to its best start in 48 years. Although K-State entered the week 13th in scoring offense, Pullen made no bones about it: "Our defense is what really scares people."
