Clemente, Wildcats shoot down A&M

Statistics are unofficial, but one could surmise that 12,528 Wildcat fans traveled home from Bramlage Coliseum on Tuesday evening with a strange sense of déjà vu. A barrage of long-distance shots from Kansas State's Denis Clemente can have that effect. In what seemed to be a reenactment of his 44-point outburst against Texas last season, Clemente found few shots he didn't like in the first half against Texas A&M. Clemente knocked down five 3-pointers on his way to scoring 20 first-half points and leading Kansas State to a 88-65 victory over Texas A&M.
