Answering the questions at tailback

With sophomore tailback Jermaine Thomas rushing for more than 100 yards in back-to-back games, some of the questions about Florida State's running game seem to have been answered.

The Seminoles have now rushed for more than 125 yards in three of their past four games - 128 against Clemson, 278 against N.C. State and 180 against Georgia Tech.

On the season, Thomas is now averaging 5.2 yards per carry, former starter Ty Jones is averaging 5.0 per attempt, and current second-teamer Chris Thompson is averaging 4.8 yards. All three are charting higher than the 4.5 yard-average posted last season by then-senior Antone Smith.
