A big visitor for Nebraska

The Nebraska football program has hosted many unofficial visitors to the Lincoln campus over the past few weeks, several of whom made commitments to the Huskers shortly thereafter. With the commencement of fall camp on Monday, that will probably slow down to trickle of its prior numbers.

One top target who has been scheduled to make an unofficial will be keeping his appointment.

Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei defensive end Cameron Meredith and his parents will be flying into Omaha Aug. 8 and they will drive to Lincoln to stay the night, Meredith's mother Katherine confirmed to HuskersIllustrated.com.

From Cameron Meredith's double-digit scholarship offers, he has a current top three that includes Nebraska, Oklahoma and Oregon.
