Florida receiver adds offers, re-shapes top five
James Louis picked up a pair of new offers on Tuesday, including one from a school that has always caught his fancy.
The Delray Beach (Atlantic), Fla., wide receiver also readjusted his top five, with a school that offered a month ago making a move up his pecking order.
Louis, a 5-foot-11, 178-pound speedster, added scholarship offers from Georgia and Florida State to his resume on Tuesday. The Bulldogs, Louis said, have always been a potentially intriguing option.
"Georgia is a school I was always into," Louis said. "I like how they run a pro-style offense. They get players ready for the NFL. I like their offense."
Both Georgia and Florida State made Louis' new top five, joining Florida, Ole Miss and Virginia Tech. Ole Miss, Louis said, is a program he's "really interested in right now. I like the way they run their offense the same way the Florida Gators run their offense. I like that.
"Ole Miss has (Dexter) McCluster and they use him the same way at the slot that Florida used Percy Harvin."
Louis, who caught 58 passes for 1,100 yards and 12 touchdowns last season, is known for his play-making skills.
"Once the ball is in my hands, I can do something good with it," said Louis, who also has offers from LSU, Miami and South Florida.
Louis, who said Florida remains the team to beat for his college services, said he hasn't made any summer plans yet and doesn't know which camps he might attend or which schools he might check out.
