ATHENS, Ga. -- Offensive tackle Daniel Inman, tailback Michael Cooper and defensive end Quentin Moses of the University of Georgia football team have been chosen to the Freshman All-SEC Team by The Sporting News.
Inman, a 6-foot-7, 321-pound redshirt freshman from Hope Mills, N.C., has started 12 games and has seen action in all 13 contests this season. Inman has recorded 27 dominator blocks, including four against South Carolina. He has earned a winning grade in 9-of-12 performances this year. Inman also served as deep snapper against Clemson. He has helped anchor a line that has paved the way for 375.7 total yards and 25.9 points a game.
A 5-foot-11, 215-pound redshirt freshman from Sylvania, Cooper is Georgia's top rusher this season with 672 yards and six touchdowns. He had 93 yards rushing in the win over Vanderbilt, the highest total by a Bulldog this season. Cooper, who has started eight games and played in all 12 contests, also has caught seven passes for 57 yards.
Moses, a 6-foot-5, 249-pound redshirt freshman from Athens, has seen action in all 13 games this season. He has recorded 36 total tackles, including 3.5 for loss, and he ranks fifth on the team with 2.5 sacks.
The Bulldogs (10-3) will take on Purdue (9-3) on New Year's Day in the Capital One Bowl in Orlando, Fla.
