AlabamaVarsity.com Player of the Week: Skyler Beck, quarterback, Brooks High School
Beck is the player of the week following his performance of 456 yards passing with six touchdowns in a 55-49 win against Colbert County High School. He added another score on the ground.

Shaq Solomon, defensive back, Enterprise High School
Solomon had four interceptions including two returned for touchdowns in a 58-19 win against Jeff Davis High School.
O.J. Howard, tight end, Autauga Academy
Howard had eight receptions for 118 yards with three touchdowns in the first round of the AISA playoffs winning 28-12 against Patrician. Howard added nine tackles on defense, two sacks and a pass break-up.
Rashad Louie, quarterback, Shades Valley High School
Louie had 299 yards passing with four touchdowns in a 47-45 win against Pelham High School. He added 113 yards on the ground and another score.
ArDarius Stewart, athlete, Fultondale High School
Stewart had 123 yards rushing with three touchdowns, and 4-of-6 passing for 144 yards and a touchdown. He also had a 47-yard interception return and added a 35-yard reception.
Marquese Banks, running back, W.S. Neal High School
Banks had 19 carries for 289 yards with six touchdowns in a 66-20 win against Millry High School.
Demarcus Johnson, athlete, Clements High School
Johnson was a standout on both sides of the ball last week. He rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown in a 28-27 win against John Paul II. He also returned two interceptions for touchdowns and added a fumble recovery.
Zarrian Grant, running back, Northside High School
Grant had 14 carries for 312 yards with five touchdowns in a 54-41 win against Oak Grove High School. He also added two interceptions on defense.
George Payne, running back, St. Luke's
Payne had five carries for a staggering 267 yards with four touchdowns in a 56-21 win against Cottage Hill High School.
Josh Walker, running back, Austin High School
Walker had 198 total yards with four touchdowns in a come-from-behind win against Hartselle High School.
Jordan Chunn, running back, Madison County High School
Chunn rushed for 127 yards with three touchdowns in a 56-14 win at Scottsboro High School. He added 13 tackles on defense.
Kamryn Pettway, running back, Prattville High School
Pettway rushed for 209 yards with four touchdowns in a 57-36 win at Northview High Scool.
Josh Lewis, athlete, Pickens Academy
Lewis had 177 yards rushing with four touchdowns in a 34-21 playoff win against Lakeside High School. He also completed 7-of-11 passes for 107 yards.
Johnny Gordon, athlete, Barbour County High School
Gordon had six receptions for 160 yards with two touchdowns in a 49-34 loss to G.W. Long High School. He also returned a kickoff 85-yards for a score. Gordon added 11 tackles on defense.
Mitch Stults, quarterback, Hamilton High School
Stults became the state's all-time leader in all-purpose yards (11,388). He had 142 yards passing last week with one touchdown in a 26-6 win against Haleyville High School. He also had 88 yards rushing and another score. Stults has produced 703 yards passing in the 2012 season, 665 yards rushing and 200 yards in punt returns.
Kendrick Doss, quarterback, Florence High School
Doss had 255 yards of offense with four touchdowns in a 28-21 win against Vestavia High School.
Walter Rutledge, running back, Homewood High School
Rutledge had 32 carries for 160 yards with two touchdowns including the game-winner in a 28-21 win against Benjamin Russell High School. He also added a two-point conversion.
Levi Mintz, quarterback, Cedar Bluff High School
Mintz completed 13-of-28 passes for 304 yards with five touchdowns in a 34-28 win at Sand Rock High School.
Xavier McCollum, running back, Winfield High School
McCollum had 158 yards rushing with three touchdowns in a 24-21 win against South Lamar High School. He scored his final touchdown of the night with less than two minutes remaining to take the lead.
