COLUMBUS, Ohio - It would be irresponsible to say that Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller played an "A" game against Miami (Ohio) in week one of the season and he would be one of the first people to admit it.
Miller's 14/24 passing marked a tie for the second most made completions in his career (completed 18 vs. Florida) and second most attempts (25 attempts against Michigan) and his 161 net rushing yards set the mark for Ohio State quarterbacks.
But with all of the positives around Miller's game there were some jump-balls that were thrown, some open receivers missed and other missed reads that Urban Meyer and the staff have been busy working with Miller on in advance of Saturday's game against UCF.
The Knights of Central Florida will pose a much greater challenge for Miller as he tries to showcase that he is a passer rather than an athlete taking snaps. We caught up with Miller on Wednesday evening to talk about his assessment of his last game and what he sees moving forward as the second game of the season draws closer.
