November 17, 2011 It's been a relatively quiet start to the 2011-12 season for Melsahn Basabe. While he's certainly put up solid numbers, the sophomore forward says his best games are on the way as the level of competition increases. It will certainly do that on Sunday when Iowa faces Creighton, led by Doug McDermott, who Basabe faced while trying out for the USA Basketball team this summer. He talks about the challenge this weekend and picking up another win on Thursday evening. |
