Keith was a KU standout from 2002-05 where he was a member of two NCAA Final Four squads... Keith ranks seventh on the KU career scoring list with 1,812 points and was a member of the 2003 NCAA Final Four All-Tournament team... Wesley verbally committed to Kansas in 2001 when he was in the fourth grade when Keith came to KU... Kevin played at California and TCU... Both older brothers play professionally... Uncle, Charles Taylor, played college football at Rice before enjoying a successful NFL career with the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos.

High School: Averaged nine points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.4 blocked shots his senior season at North Crowley High School in Fort Worth, Texas, for coach Tommy Brakel... Named the District 3-5A Defensive Player of the Year in 2009... Played in the DFW All-Star Game for the Tarrant County All-Stars in 2009 where he scored seven points and won the slam dunk contest... All-district selection as a sophomore and junior at Klein Collins H.S. in Klein, Texas... Named a Texas Scholar in high school.

Freshman Season (2009-10 at Lamar): Played 23 games for Lamar with two starts... Averaged 9.9 minutes, 1.2 points and 1.3 rebounds per game for head coach Steve Roccaforte...
