Boykin: Top 2008 corner in Georgia
The top corner in Georgia last fall was UGA signee Brandon Boykin. Boykin will be moving to Athens next week and he will bring with him a lot of speed, athleticism, ball skills, smarts, and toughness.
We were at Boykin's last high school game with Fayette County and his team lost to finish at 11-1, but it was not because of Boykin's play.
Not only did he perform well at corner, but he led the Tigers on offense from the quarterback position also.
His team fell to another Bulldog signee Nick Williams and the Bainbridge Bearcats 28-24 in a game that went down to the wire.
The 5-foot-10, 175-pound speedster made some very nice plays on each side of the ball including two very impressive plays at corner. He leaped and hung in the air for an interception and then he showed great quickness with a diving pass break up.
Get a look at what Boykin will be bringing to Athens in this exclusive video.

Boykin plans to move to Athens the first week of June and begin his Bulldog career next week. He will be wearing number 20 for the Dawgs.
