When Jimmy Clausen hit Kyle Rudolph in the flat for a 52-yard gain against Michigan State, the quarterback did more than set up Notre Dame's opening touchdown drive. Clausen offered evidence that he developed more than his leadership skills last off-season. Those lessons learned are showing up in the game of the nation's second-ranked passer.
