Shead's family dealing with decision
It's been nearly three months since Cedar Hill, Texas four-star offensive guard Adam Shead made his commitment to Oklahoma but that doesn't mean that folks around Dallas have accepted his choice.
Wisely it seems that the fans who are the most vocal about the 'error' of his commitment don't approach the 6-foot-4, 315-pound star. In fact in his most recent run-in it was his mother who was getting an earful about Shead playing his college ball within state lines.
"Everyone still gives me a hard time. Today I was in Wal-Mart, it was about an hour ago actually and this guy comes up and he is talking to my mom about how I shouldn't go to Oklahoma," Shead chuckled. "I walked up in the middle of the conversation and he took off.
"I don't even know the guy and he is giving my mom a hard time."
