Trinca-Pasat talks about his decision
Back in January, Iowa was the first school to offer defensive end Louis Trinca-Pasat. That meant a lot to the 6-foot-3, 230-pound Chicago native and was something he never forgot as he continued to add more offers this spring. This past weekend, Trinca-Pasat decided to end the recruiting process and gave his verbal commitment to the Hawkeyes. He talks about his decision and much more.
Q: When did you commit?
TRINCA-PASAT: Yesterday actually.
Q: How did it all happen?
TRINCA-PASAT: Well, I wanted to commit before June 18 pretty much. I'm going on an Australia trip and I have a pretty packed schedule this summer. So I visited all of the schools that offered and then talked it over with my family and we all felt like Iowa was the best fit. So yesterday, I took a visit down there and met with the coaches and committed.
Q: What was it that made Iowa the best fit for you?
TRINCA-PASAT: That's where I was the most comfortable and my family all agreed with it.
