Michigan WR up to nine offers
After catching 69 passes for 1.065 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior, Michigan wide receiver Tony Jones has seen plenty of early recruiting interest. In fact, the 6-foot-1, 180-pound Jones, who attends Grand Blanc High School, is already up to nine scholarship offers.
"Currently, I have offers from Michigan State, Iowa, Northwestern, Indiana, Bowling Green, Toledo, Akron, Stanford, and Central Michigan," said Jones.
With all of the recruiting attention just coming recently, Jones says it is too early to name any favorites. This spring and summer, he hopes to get out and make a few visits as his track schedule allows.
Jones, who carries a 3.6 grade point average, said he hopes to take his official visits early in the season and then decide shortly thereafter, probably sometime in September.
