Born Ready set to announce on Tuesday
Lance Stephenson is less than 24-hours away from making a decision about his future. On Tuesday morning, the 6-foot-5, 195-pound shooting guard from Abraham Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, N.Y., will announce his future plans from the University of Miami, site of the McDonald's All-American game. Jerry Meyer, Rivals.com Basketball Recruiting Analyst, is in Miami and provided Jayhawk Slant with his thoughts on where KU stands with Stephenson, who also spoke to Jayhawk Slant on Monday morning.
Stephenson, during his career at Abraham Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, N.Y., has emerged as one of the most coveted prospects in his class. This past season, the No. 4 ranked shooting guard in the class of 2009, averaged 31.9-points, 12.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists during the regular season.
