USC Weekend Recruiting Recap
On the final weekend before National Signing Day begins the end of the recruiting process for the country's top high school football players, the University of Southern California hosted three of the best the nation has to offer.
Five-star talents Manti Te'o and Patrick Hall joined three-star linebacker Chris Metcalf on campus, where Pete Carroll & Co. showed the trio to a taste of what USC has to offer.
The Trojans are in their final sprint toward the Class of 2009's finish line, and each of the three seniors are at a different points in their recruitment.
The following is a recap of what this weekend means for USC and the trio.
As quite possibly Hawaii's most sought after recruit ever, Laie (Hawaii) five-star linebacker Manti Te'o is at the center of a three-way recruiting battle between USC, UCLA and Notre Dame. However, several sources have recently indicated that his recruitment has become a cross-town battle between USC and UCLA.
Te'o attended Saturday's USC basketball game against Cal with the Trojans' other two weekend visitors, and by all accounts, seemed comfortable with his surroundings.
