Lynn Enjoys Meeting McFarland and Brent
It's been three years since Gabe Lynn went down to San Antonio to watch his brother, Phillip Dillard, take part in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. The 6-foot, 185-pound defensive back watched his brother play in the 2006 game while he himself took part in last Saturday's festivities.
The nation's No. 5 cornerback was only there for the game itself during his brother's time in the Alamo city but says what took place was pretty much what he had anticipated.
While many players in years past have admitted to having some serious nerves about starring on national television against the nation's best prospects Lynn says that was no real factor for him after opening kickoff.
"It was about what I expected, it was a lot of fun.," Lynn explained. "I just looked at it as another game.
"I mean you get those nerves before a game but once it gets going you're not thinking about it anymore."
