Three-star safety takes in FIU's victory
Mark Stampini
PantherRage.com Rivals 3-star prospect Frank Crawford has seen his season cut short due to an injury. That has not stopped Mario Cristobal and his FIU staff from pursuing the 6 foot, 165-pound safety. PantherRage.com caught up with Crawford on what he thought about FIU. "I went to the FIU game against Arkansas State," said Crawford. "FIU is close to home and I see people playing for them that I know."
What did you think of the game?
"I think it was fun because the atmosphere was how I thought it would be. I liked the coaches. I went with my parents and they showed them a good time. Seeing players I played against in high school and people I knew out there playing on the field."
Are you going to officially visit FIU?
"Yes, I haven't set it up though."
Do you have any other official visits scheduled?
"I am going to Ole Miss sometime this month. Also, I am going to take an official visit to South Florida, but I don't know when."
Have you decided on a top 5?
"Not really, I am just taking my time to learn everything I can about the schools. I plan on taking all five visits."
Despite losing Crawford in the third game of the year Gulliver Prep is 7-1 on the season.
