Louisville freshman drops 36 and 16 in first scrimmage
Five-star freshman center Samardo Samuels lived up to some of his National High School Player of the Year hype Sunday night, scoring 36 points and grabbing 16 rebounds to help lead the Red team to a 97-80 win over the White team during an intrasquad scrimmage at Freedom Hall. The scrimmage, contested in front of 11,600 fans, also saw junior All-American candidate Earl Clark score 30 points and grab 14 rebounds.
