There was a time when Darius Fleming would have looked at special teams duty with disdain. But that was before the Irish freshman from St. Rita High School in Chicago won a starting spot on Notre Dame's special teams. Fleming has become a weapon on the Irish coverage units. He doesn't get the publicity of Mike Anello, but he provides much the same production.
