Okafor enjoys game experience at A&M
Houston Bellaire defensive end Joseph Okafor is hard to miss in a crowd. The 6-foot-7, 231-pound junior seems to stand out no matter where he is. That was exactly the case at the Texas A&M-Miami game on Saturday at Kyle Field. With over 100 prospects in attendance, including some very big-name 2009 and 2010 prospects, his presence could not be missed.
The defender says that, even though the Aggies lost the game, he enjoyed his experience in College Station. He says he took from it several positives.
"I liked the game a lot, even though they lost," Okafor said. "It was all different to me with the yells and the swaying and stuff. That was all real cool. I just know that they're going to be better. You could tell that from the way they played. That was actually my first game to go to at any level higher than high school."
