Getting the chance to start at cornerback in Saturday's first preseason
scrimmage, Richard Council made the most of it with a big interception and
return on the second series of downs against the first team offense.  The
6-foot-1, 188-pound redshirt frosh stepped in front of Chris Banks to pick off a
Ben Chappell pass.

"I was anticipating the post and I just broke on the ball when I saw it,"
said Council. "It was nice to make a big play."
