Mays Turning Heads
Killeen (Texas) Shoemaker first attracted college scouts with the emergence of defensive tackle Roy Miller (Texas) in the 2005 class.
Since then the Grey Wolves have produced a steady stream of D1 talent including the likes of Keith Smith (Purdue), Brandon Joiner (Texas A&M), Eugene Daniels (Colorado St.), and Andre Smith (Arkansas St.).
Shoemaker's 2009 class already has college coaches taking a long look, with receiver Derrick Mays leading the way with a couple of offers and even more interest.
