OMAHA, Neb. -- The Kansas State Wildcats defeated the Southern California Trojans in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday not just because Michael Beasley and Bill Walker had big nights, but also thanks to other freshmen such as point guard Jacob Pullen who helped propel the Wildcats to a 80-67 victory.
