The defending National Champion LSU Tigers already have one five-star commitment for the Class of 2009.

They are after another in the nation's second-ranked player, defensive tackle Jamarkus McFarland.

The 6-3, 280-pound Lufkin High School standout is a five-star player according to the latest Rivals.com rankings and is only ranked behind quarterback Matt Barkley, making McFarland the highest-rated defensive player in the country according to Rivals.com.
