Anderson displays leadership and effort
A few weeks ago, Omaha (Neb.) Millard West defensive end Kenny Anderson joined the impressive list of prospects who have turned down lower division scholarship offers choosing instead to walk on at Nebraska. The 6-foot-2, 230-pounder turned down Northwest Missouri State and Augustana to play for the home-state Huskers.
Anderson was chosen the Metro Omaha Football Coaches Association Defensive Lineman of the Year, as well as being selected to the first-team of the Lincoln Journal Star's Super State and the second-team of the Omaha World Herald's All-Nebraska Team.
