Preview: KU vs. Nebraska
Not only is conference here, but No. 3 Kansas (15-0, 0-0) begins its run through the Big 12 on the road against upstart Nebraska (11-2, 0-0). After sitting out a 30-point win over Loyola, Mario Chalmers has recovered from a slight groin injury and will take the court Saturday. The Jayhawks are shooting for their sixteenth straight win, a 1-0 start in conference play, and win number 30 over their last 31 games dating back to last season. Without question, KU is one of the hottest teams in the country and is no longer flying under the radar. Doc Sadler has a red machine waiting in Lincoln, Neb., prepared to possible pull an early season-upset. Tip is at 8:00 p.m. CST.
Kansas fans gladly remember the last meeting between Kansas and Nebraska. A road trip that was a sure thing. What they never expected was the 92-39 jaw-dropping drubbing laid down by the Jayhawks.
