Standout receiver Khiry Cooper has had a scholarship in-hand from Nebraska for several months. However, according to the 6-foot-2, 175-pound athlete out of Shreveport (La.) Calvary Academy, he's just now getting the opportunity to really get familiar with the Husker program.

Cooper said he recently had the chance to meet with a couple members of the new Nebraska coaching staff and, as a result, now plans to take a harder look at the 'Big Red'.
