Kansas 8-0 after easy win
Darnell Jackson scored 17 points and pulled in 10 rebounds to lead No. 3 Kansas (8-0, 0-0) in a blowout win over Eastern Washington (3-7, 0-0) in Allen Fieldhouse Wednesday night. The Jayhawks started the game on fire by dominating EWU in the low post. The game was never in doubt as eight players scored at least six points for KU. Darrell Arthur had 12 first-half points and finished with 15 for the game as Kansas moved to 8-0 on the season heading into a Saturday afternoon contest against DePaul.
In a classic sandwich game, Kansas was able to take care of business against the Eagles of Eastern Washington. KU, coming off a win over USC, has their sights set on DePaul for a rematch of last seasons disappointing loss last year in Chicago, Ill.
