Lonely Voskuil powers Red Raiders
Player of the Game
In one of the easiest decisions of all time, junior guard Alan Voskuil is a unanimous selection. He scored 28 points on 17 shots, had seven rebounds, four assists, and five steals. He dropped long bombs, he cut to the basket, he hit reverse layups. He defended, he scored, he passed. Outstanding effort.
Worst SignUnsung Hero
The candidates are many in this upset victory, tonight the award is split between Charlie Burgess and Esmir Rizvic. Both had their best games of the season. Burgess shot well substituting for Voskuil, Zeno, and Roberson. He was three-of-four from the floor and three-of-four from the free throw line, finishing with 11 points and four rebounds in 23 minutes of play. Rizvic played 15 minutes and hit two of his three shots and had three rebounds and a block. His defense was noticeable and effective.
