Instate lineman still working for U-M offer
North Branch (Mich.) offensive tackle Zach Hueter has been an unofficial visitor at each of Michigan's first four home football games this season. The frequent trips demonstrate the 6-7, 295-pound prospect's interest in the Wolverines, but what is Michigan's interest in him? Hueter fills us in on what he has been hearing.
Hueter started to rise on Michigan's recruiting radar last spring and was invited to several spring practices. He worked out for offensive line coach Andy Moeller at this summer's Michigan football camp and though he did not receive an offer, Michigan continued to show interest. That interest has been maintained throughout the fall.
Hueter holds scholarship offers from Eastern Michigan and Central Michigan and is being recruited by Indiana, Cincinnati, Michigan State and Northwestern, but an offer from Michigan is one he is waiting on.
