FIU game: Three things to watch
The KU defensive ends and linebackers:
The Florida International run game is starting to show signs of life. Last week they rushed for 159 yards which is the most yardage on the ground Miami, FL has surrendered since the 2005 peach Bowl against LSU.
One of the reasons is A'mod Ned who is back after serving an early suspension. He gives the Golden Panthers a legitimate threat at tailback. The other is the athleticism and scrambling ability of Wayne Younger at quarterback.
There are going to be plays on the edge the defensive ends must seal and at the same time the linebackers are going to have to make plays. FIU may not be an offensive juggernaut but they are improving weekly.
