Garth opens up recruitment
A day after picking up commitment number two the Gophers lost the commit of point guard Nate Garth. Garth has selected to reopen his commitment looking at other schools while stating that Minnesota is still a potential option. The 6-foot-3 Garth was to finish high school after one semester and enroll for winter semester at Minnesota.
By text this morning Garth notified several Rivals.com representatives that he was going to open up things with college decision.
Nate committed to Minnesota last spring and although he has decommitted Garth is still looking at Tubby Smith and the Gophers. There are several other options out there for Garth and he has a long list of schools that could be interested, including Auburn, Houston, New Mexico, UTEP, Cal, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, West Virginia and Memphis.
