OFFENSVIE LINE TO GET A BIG BOOST
Sources close to the situation have indicated that redshirt freshman center Buck Burnette, a player expected by many to compete for a starting job, has been cleared to begin practicing. Burnette was forced to sit out the team's first five workouts for undisclosed medical reasons.
Per NCAA rules, Burnette will first have to go through four workouts before he can pull on full pads, but he should be back in the mix by the middle of next week.
Burnette's return is huge for an offensive line that is still trying to sort through a two-deep.

Projected starter Cedric Dockery has been taking part in all of the team drills after missing the second half of the season and the entire off-season with an ACL tear, and so far the results have been overwhelmingly positive.
Dockery, who is running at first-team right guard, said after the team's first practice in pads that he has experienced no pain or swelling after any of the workouts. He and the trainers have been taking extra care of his knee before and after workouts as a precautionary measure and Mack Brown said after the first practice of the year that the team may have to rest Dockery on certain days, but so far there have been no setbacks.
