Herring savors camp experience
As the unofficial mouthpiece for the ASU football team, at most if not all practices, junior running back Keegan Herring can be heard from the opposite end of the practice field hyping his teammates all while making sure there's never a dull moment in practice.
Don't be mistaken, Herring isn't trying to take over the leadership duties, but he isn't afraid to voice his passion and inspire his teammates to have fun.
"The quarterback is the one that calms us down and tries to get us hyped, but the running backs are the ones that get the linemen up because when we do a great job we go straight to the linemen and tap them on the behind and tell them keep the intensity up," Herring said after Thursday's second practice of the day.
