Offers are beginning to pile up for Newberry, S.C. defensive tackle Kenny Davis. The 6-foot-4, 295-pounder claims nearly a half dozen offers and has numerous other schools taking a look too.

"The last two schools that offered him were North Carolina and Virginia Tech," Davis's father, James Robinson said. "Stanford has also offered along with South Carolina and Clemson.

"All of those schools are trying to get him up for a visit. I know we've also been hearing from Tennessee, Virginia, Alabama, Auburn, Miami, Illinois, Mississippi State and Michigan."
