Virbitsky talks UConn, keeps options open
Tight end Justin Virbitsky isn't quite sure what he's looking for in a school and has chosen to keep his options open during the summer months to see what the coaches are willing to offer him.
This weekend, he's planned a trip out to Akron, which was the first school to offer him a scholarship offer, and will stop by Pittsburgh along the way for a first visit with the Panthers' coaches.
The 6-foot-5, 251-pound tight end has seen quite a few places - he's already traveled to Boston College, Penn State, Syracuse and Toledo - and camped at just one school, Temple, this summer. While UConn has not extended a scholarship offer, Duke and Buffalo join Akron and Temple as the four that have.
